Building a Panelboard in Revit

In this guide we will run though how to build a Panelboard or Switchboard in Revit MEP.

1. Start by opening a new Electrical Revit MEP family template by selecting New -> Family -> Electrical Equiptment.rft -> Open

2. Set the Part Type to Panelboard

2.Draw a shape to represent the Panelboard

3.Add electrical connector and conduit connectors to the faces of the panel board

4. Adjust the electrical connector properties to suit your requirements. Ensure the Number of Poles and Voltage are entered correctly for the electrical system you are using.
